semiotics...what they mean and what we get! :))))

Ok first of all let me share this strange feeling of mine with you: i really feel like understand all the subjects in a different way!!!! ways that usually have nothing to do with the main subject!:))))) got bless me when examinations come!
then i would love to inform you it's not just about men's underwear!
but getting more serious, i want to confess that the first time i understood the meaning of semiotics i reminded of this advertise! :D
not just because i'm a huge Bradley Cooper fan!
and again not because being the "Sexiest men alive" you don't need to buy girls! they easily come to you!
.
.
.
And i still don't know the reason myself! :D
any way! i believe asking not any celebrity but the popular ones to do an advertisement like this wasn't a bad idea! because people will look at them and they may start doing what they do and also since some female celebrities also support the campaign the message would  affect people more! idk!!!!
just like the combination of Wahlberg and Moss became more successful! at least i think so!

Media Literacy... variety of ways

Hearing the name "Media Literacy" scared me so bad at the first place! for me it was a complicated subject!
but i tried to make it simple as possible, so now i just see ways of sending messages named as media literacy!
like this:
the poster is obviously trying to say that we are all equal and we all have the same basic rights... at least we should have! so because of that they used different colors and some words to describe the situation and that easy and simple they sent their message!
you may all know this video:
It's crystal clear that every artist has some people who admire them and some to criticize their works all the time! and i'm not about to talk about gaga's fans or whatever!
but the song is giving a simple message! that we are all equal no matter how we look or what interests we have and that we should respect others!
so in media literacy we can choose different messages and send them in different ways...
I believe that when the way of sharing gets simple everyone can easily understand but some people don't think so!
at the end i want to share some of the advertisements with you that i found funny and clever!

The bigger picture!

                       Trying to get blessed

The first time I heard the name "Baraka" i had no idea what is the meaning of it! so i searched for the meaning...
Baraka means blessing in different languages and i can easily understand why they named it Baraka!

who knows where it all started? how far we can go back?who knows the beginning and how it was?
Watching Baraka, for me, was like having a deja vu with some old basic questions that I  could never find the answers.
Each scene could easily give me a simple message different from the others. But soon as I tried to see the bigger picture i could understand the relation between each and every individual scene.

Nepal

India

Jerusalem

Turkey

Iran

Bali

Brazil

We have all seen the movie before but look at these pictures again. And then try to see them together.
People with different religions and beliefs all looking for peace and blessing.
They look for wisdom in their very own way... the only way they know!
But their not the only ones...
As time changed our lives in every possible way people found different ways to survive their lives and get more wiser...

                                                                             Hong Kong

                                                                            Tokyo
Modern life.... Technology...

                                                                            Brazil

                                                                            NYC

And got so involved with their daily lives that they forgot they need to be blessed and they need some peace...
They easily forgot HUMANITIES!

And for their own good they ruined other lives....
Who knows how this will end?will it even end at all?
But the point is us humans abandoned our peaceful lives for a better future, they invented new things in order to live better and then used them to destroy other lives....
and again who knows what else will be invented and what else will be destroyed?
They are changing every thing to reach a better life without even thinking that maybe for having a better life they need to search in the past not in the future....
